How to get on radio, be a great guest, and turn talk into sales.

It's no secret that people need to know about you or your product to actually buy what you're selling.

How do you get the message out in a cost effective way?
Doing interviews with the media!

The great thing about radio is...
-Everyone has one, you tend to get more airtime than TV,  you can connect with listeners through your voice, AND... you can have a platform to sell or promote products without having to buy air time.
(If you know what you're doing.)

On November 11th,  Success In Media
will be hosting another great Seminar.  This time, we're focused on RADIO. More specifically, "Radio Succe$$... How to Get On, Be a Great Guest, And Turn Talk Into Sales."
It won't be at a hotel where you must spend hundreds of dollars to hear George Woods talk.  It will be LIVE via Tele-Seminar.

Tele-Seminars are the new way to learn, without breaking the bank.  It's like a huge conference call.  Instead of traveling to hear a speaker, you can listen right from the comfort of your own home.

Success In Media is the company hosting this Tele-Seminar.  Success In Media only selects content-rich speakers to be a part of their speaking line-up.

ATTEND AND LEARN
FROM  THE BEST.

About the Featured Speaker:

George Woods

George Woods leads an ensemble cast every morning on TalkRadio 710 KCMO featuring Kevin Patrick in the newsroom following the latest in local and national news, business news and sports. When you listen to AM Kansas City weekdays from 5am until 9am on TalkRadio 710 KCMO, you will hear interviews with local and national politicians and newsmakers or off beat types that make you smile. George takes plenty of calls from listeners all over KC who want to speak up about everything that’s happening in the news, with current events, or everyday life.

Before joining Talkradio 710 KCMO in January 2002, George spent the better part of the last 20 years in Omaha, Nebraska, as the host of a successful talk radio and country music show. Over that time, George estimates that he traveled to the KC Metro somewhere between 100 and 200 times for business and pleasure. On those long weekends enjoying BBQ and a little culture, George was a frequent KCMO and talk radio listener. His Midwestern values lend a real down home and friendly feel to his show.

George is married to Nancy and they traveled to Poland on their honeymoon. You might see George around town dining out on his favorite food,  pasta, . George is an avid horse racing handicapper and is a published author. Call the show and ask him about Gilbert Gottfried or Sandra Bernhardt (that’ll get his dander up!).

From his humble beginnings in a small NY town (pop. 300, if the weather was good), George started out to become the world's next greatest actor.

When he got to the State University College of New York in Oneonta, as he puts it, "I stumbled into the college radio station one day and sort of never left."

After enjoying success as an air personality in several different types of music radio in both the Northeastern and Southeastern US, George received an offer in Omaha in 1990 to become powerhouse KFAB's first full time talk show host--and launched a veritable new career!

In 2002, George joined TalkRadio 710 KCMO in Kansas City, MO, as host of A.M. Kansas City with George Woods,  from 5-9 a.m. central time Monday thru Friday.

His natural wit and conversational approach to talk radio quickly made George a Kansas City talk radio favorite.

Even in the fast-paced format of morning drive with traffic and weather updates every ten minutes, George turns the news topics of the day into great conversation. His guests range from Cabinet members in the Bush administration to decision-makers who affect life on every level nationally and locally .

It's not unusual to hear George talking with listeners who are lined up on the phone to talk with him even between 5 and 6 in the morning.

And it's not just Kansas City listening to George. Talk Radio fans hungry for great talk listen live on the Internet to George all over the world, from New York and L.A. to Egypt, England, France, Spain, and Australia.

George Woods: waking up America -- and the world -- the right way.
